HONORING LEGACY - STRENGTHENING TEAMS - GROWING OPPORTUNITY
After returning to the Rogue Valley to raise my family, I founded The O’Mara Stewardship Trust with one purpose — to continue the legacy of a great local business while investing in the people who make it thrive. We focus on long-term ownership, skill-building, and community stewardship, ensuring employees grow, families prosper, and the work endures for decades to come.
ABOUT ME
I’m Dan O’Mara. My family and I returned to the Rogue Valley because we love this place—the people, the nature, and the quality of life. After years spent leading teams and helping others grow in their careers, I founded The O’Mara Stewardship Trust as a way to combine my entrepreneurial experience with my passion for building strong, people-first organizations.I’m a hands-on entrepreneur who believes in stewardship over extraction—preserving what makes a business special, supporting the team that makes it work, and strengthening the community we’re proud to call home.
PHILOSOPHY
I’m not looking to acquire a portfolio of companies. I’m looking for one great business to own and operate for the long term — a company whose values, people, and reputation I can honor and continue. My approach is simple: find the right business, treat its team with respect, preserve what already works, and build on the foundation the owner has spent years creating.I believe in:
• Long-term ownership, not flipping
• Investing in people and developing talent
• Keeping jobs and leadership local
• Consistency, stability, and continuous improvementYour business isn’t just an asset. It’s a legacy — and it deserves a future shaped with care.
Looking for
I’m interested in acquiring a well-run, low-capex service or skilled-trade business in Southern Oregon — something built by people who take pride in doing good work.Ideal businesses often have:
• A strong team with valuable experience
• Steady, repeat customers
• Owners considering retirement or transition
• A reputation for quality and reliabilityIf that sounds like your business, I’d love to learn more — at your pace, on your terms.
What To Expect
Selling a business is personal, and every owner’s timing is different. When we talk, there’s no obligation and no expectation. My goal is simply to understand your story, your team, and what a successful transition would look like for you.And if it turns out we’re not the right fit today, that’s perfectly fine.
The conversation can still help you get clarity on:
• What your business might be worth
• How the sale process typically works
• What buyers look for
• What options you may have in the futureWhether we move forward or not, you’ll walk away with a clearer picture of what selling your business could look like — whenever the time is right.
LET’S TALK
Whether you’re thinking about retirement, planning ahead, or just exploring your options, I’m happy to talk. There’s never any pressure — just a confidential conversation about your goals and whether we might be a fit.
